The Season Hits High Gear at CCM Motown
Detroit once again lived up to its reputation as a hockey hotbed, as the CCM Motown welcomed 344 teams from 20 U.S. states and one Canadian province for an unforgettable weekend of elite competition. From Alaska to Florida, and Ontario to Texas, players converged on the Motor City ready to showcase their skill, speed, and team pride.
Across 23 divisions, teams battled through a thrilling schedule of 755 games, with a staggering 4,723 goals lighting the lamp throughout the weekend. The competition was as tight as ever—seven championship games were decided by just one goal, while one title game required overtime to crown a champion. In the end, 23 teams skated away as CCM Motown Champions, each taking home the coveted championship belt—a proud Motown tradition that embodies the city’s fighting spirit.
From the first puck drop to the final horn, CCM Motown was pure energy—filled with clutch saves, highlight-reel goals, and the signature grit that defines Detroit hockey. As one of the marquee fall tournaments on the 200×85 calendar, Motown once again delivered an atmosphere that blends passion, community, and high-level play—making it a must-attend stop for teams across North America.
