From Music City to Motor City: Recapping the Weekend

Another busy weekend of hockey is in the books as 200×85 and the Klevr Super League USA hosted three action-packed events across the country. From Nashville to the CCM Shootout and up to Trenton, Michigan, teams battled through a combined 217 games with championship hardware on the line.
The weekend featured the CCM Nashville Tier I, the CCM Shootout 2016 Birth Year, and the KSL Motor City Fest, with plenty of close games, undefeated runs and championship moments along the way.
CCM Nashville Tier I
Nashville was buzzing all weekend as 62 teams took the ice for 138 games at the CCM Nashville Tier I. Six champions were crowned across the divisions, with several teams putting together impressive runs throughout the weekend.

The Music City Marauders (2013), Chicago Phantoms (2014), and Guelph Gryphons (2015) were the only teams to finish their weekends undefeated. The most dramatic championship finish came in the 2012 Division, where the Southeast Blades and Buffalo Regals needed overtime to determine a champion. In the end, the Southeast Blades came away with the title.

CCM Shootout 2016 Birth Year
The CCM Shootout brought eight teams together for 20 games featuring the 2016 birth year. The Chatham Kent Cyclones were the lone undefeated team of the event, finishing with the best record in the field. The Soo Jr Greyhounds put together the second-best record at 4-1-0, with their only loss coming in a tight 1-0 game against the Chatham Kent Cyclones.

KSL Motor City Fest
The Klevr Super League USA was also in action in Trenton, Michigan, for the KSL Motor City Fest. The event featured 25 teams and 59 games, with three champions emerging across the divisions.

It was a weekend full of competitive hockey, big performances and championship moments as the KSL USA season continued its run through Michigan.

Next Stop Dallas
The calendar doesn’t slow down. Next weekend, the action heads to Dallas for the CCM Dallas, where another group of teams will hit the ice looking to make their mark and take home championship hardware.
