Body Contact Camps Expands for 2025
200x85 is thrilled to announce the expansion of its renowned Body Contact Camps to new locations across the United States for the 2025 season. Traditionally hosted exclusively in Woodridge, Illinois, the Body Contact Camps will now also take place in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts, providing more young players with access to top-tier hockey training.
The 200x85 Body Contact Camps are designed to give players born between 2011 and 2016 a unique and professional training experience. Utilizing “Checking Dummies,” the camps on teaching critical skills such as awareness, angling, body positioning, and effective body contact. Each session aims to boost players’ confidence in physical scenarios, helping to reduce the risk of injury by ensuring they are well-prepared and knowledgeable about the evolving rules of body contact in hockey.
Chad Green, Director of Player Development, emphasizes the importance of the camp, stating, “Being properly educated on the physical part of the game is crucial for any young hockey player. It’s not just about being ready to receive body contact, but also about using body contact as an advantage in their game. Our camps provide a safe environment where players can learn these skills effectively, preparing them for competitive play and helping them gain the confidence they need on the ice.”
