200×85 Alumni Shine in 2025 NHL Entry Draft: 22 Players Selected

At 200×85, our mission is rooted in developing the next generation of hockey stars, providing elite athletes with the tools, training, and competition they need to thrive at the highest level. That mission was proudly on display at the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, where 22 alumni heard their names called, taking the next step in their hockey journeys.

Held June 27–28 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the 63rd NHL Entry Draft served as the stage where years of hard work and dedication culminated in a moment these players will never forget. From first-round selections to late-round steals, our alumni once again proved that the 200×85 development path prepares players to perform and shine.


First Round Firepower

Six 200×85 alumni were selected in the opening round, showcasing their elite skillsets and NHL potential:

  • James Hagens (CCM 68) – 7th Overall – Boston Bruins
  • Logan Hensler (CCM 68) – 23rd Overall – Ottawa Senators
  • Will Horcoff (CCM 68) – 24th Overall – Pittsburgh Penguins
  • Ryker Lee (CCM 68 & CCM Chicago Brick) – 26th Overall – Nashville Predators
  • Henry Brzustewicz (CCM 68) – 31st Overall – Los Angeles Kings
  • Cullen Potter (CCM 68) – 32nd Overall – Calgary Flames

The pick kept rolling on day two of the NHL Draft and there was no shortage of 200×85 alumni whose names were called:

The path to the NHL is never easy, but the consistency with which our alumni are selected in the draft speaks volumes about the caliber of our programs. From early-stage development at CCM Chicago Brick to elite identification at CCM 68, every 200×85 event is designed to challenge, grow, and prepare players for hockey’s biggest stage.
