September 14, 2026
Another busy weekend in the books for 200×85, with two events bringing teams from across North America together for competitive hockey, memorable experiences, and opportunities to showcase their talent.
From the Howies Hometown Cup in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the CCM Happy Valley Showcase at Penn State University, hundreds of players took the ice across two unique events.

The tournament featured 126 teams from 12 states and Ontario, with teams traveling from as far as California and Colorado. One of the highlights of the Howies Hometown Cup was the opportunity for participating teams to experience Howies Hockey beyond the rink. Teams visiting Howies Hockey headquarters got an inside look at the home of one of hockey’s most recognizable tape brands, creating an experience that went beyond the games themselves.
CCM Happy Valley Showcase
At Penn State University, the CCM Happy Valley Showcase brought together 20 teams from Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Ontario, and Pennsylvania for a 2013 birth-year showcase.
The showcase format featured 50 games, giving every team multiple opportunities to compete against high-level competition and put their players on display. Team Philadelphia Black finished as the only undefeated team, going 4-0 in regulation with one overtime victory. Their defensive performance was particularly impressive, as they were the only team in the showcase to average fewer than two goals against per game.
The USA Eagles also went undefeated in regulation, with their only setback coming in overtime against Team Philadelphia Black. Offensively, the Columbus Mavericks led the entire showcase with 32 goals, averaging 6.4 goals per game. Their only loss of the weekend came in their final game against Team Philadelphia Black.
