200×85 Names Donnie Harkins Head Coach of CCM Chicago for 2026 Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament

Chicago, IL – August 13, 2025 – 200×85 is proud to announce the appointment of Donnie Harkins as Head Coach of CCM Chicago for the 2026 Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament, one of the most prestigious youth hockey events in the world.

With over three decades of experience in the game, Harkins brings an unparalleled track record of player development, talent identification, and winning tradition to the CCM Chicago Brick program. His career spans every level of hockey, from youth to junior to professional, with roles as a scout, general manager, director of player personnel, and head coach.

A former NCAA Division I player at Miami University (OH), Harkins began his coaching career in 1985, capturing the USA Hockey Tier 1 National Championship in his first season. He has since been a key piece in building some of the country’s top programs and developing elite players such as Patrick Kane, Peter Mueller, Hobey Baker Award winner Andy Miele, and many others who advanced to NCAA Division I, OHL, USHL, NTDP, and NHL careers.

Harkins’ extensive resume goes beyond coaching, in scouting and player personnel roles, he has been instrumental in drafting and developing top NHL talent, including first-round selections Tom Wilson, Ryan Hartman, JT Miller, and Sonny Milano. He is currently a U.S. Scout for the OHL’s Flint Firebirds.

The Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament has been held annually since 1990 at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, bringing together the best 9- and 10-year-old players from across North America. Known for its elite competition and unforgettable experience, the tournament has helped launch the careers of hundreds of players who have gone on to play in the NHL, PWHL, CHL, and NCAA, as well as represent their countries on the international stage.

CCM Chicago will represent the 2016 birth year in the 2026 tournament, with Harkins at the helm to guide the team toward success both on and off the ice.
