200×85 Adds Events in Connecticut and Michigan In Collaboration with Howie’s Hockey and Shoulder Check

200×85 is turning up the heat this summer with not one, but two jaw-dropping youth hockey tournaments that will have players and fans on the edge of their seats! We are excited to announce the first inaugural CCM Shoulder Check 14U Showcase and Howie’s Hometown Cup.

Grand Rapids & Kalamazoo, MI – May 10-12, 2024

Now, shift your gaze to the Howie’s Hometown Cup, making its grand debut in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, MI, from May 10-12, 2024. This isn’t your regular tournament – it’s a hockey experience like no other! Partnering with the iconic Howie’s Hockey, we’re bringing you a weekend filled with hockey, adventure, and a whole lot of Michigan pride. Howie’s Hockey proudly sponsors all 200×85 event’s MVPs and we are excited to take our relationship with Howie’s a step further.

Teams in the Grand Rapids area will have the unique opportunity to tour Howies’ brand-new 54,000 square foot Hockey Headquarters, making this tournament a truly immersive experience. With skill levels ranging from Elite AAA to AA, players aged 2009-2016 will compete in an event that goes beyond the game.

CCM Shoulder Check 14U Showcase

Stamford, CT – July 25-28, 2024

The CCM Shoulder Check 14U Showcase is not just a tournament; it’s a celebration of youth hockey’s spirit and camaraderie. Taking place in Stamford, CT, from July 25-28, 2024, this event will feature 12 boys teams at the 2010 birth year and 12 girls teams at the U14 level, all showcasing their skills at the AAA level.

The tournament kicks off with opening night feature games and a celebrity match, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. Inspired by the memory of Hayden Thorsen, #40 on the ice and a symbol of leadership and friendship, the event is a testament to the Shoulder Check motto: “REACH OUT. CHECK IN. MAKE CONTACT.”’
