CCM Shoulder Check 14U Showcase

The CCM Shoulder Check is more than a tournament, it is an event. Kicking off with opening night feature games as well as a celebrity game, the CCM Shoulder Check is a youth hockey celebration in memory of Hayden Thorsen, who passed away in 2022.

We will host 12 boys teams at the 2010 birth year and 12 girls teams at the 14U level.

HAYDEN THORSEN …is the inspiration behind this tournament. Hayden was #40 on the ice. But above all, he was a friend to all. He was a leader. The hand on your shoulder. The “How’s it going?” that let you know you weren’t on your own. He was the thread between friends, strangers, and even competitors. Though he left us far too early, the way he lived his life is the guiding light and inspiration for this inaugural event.
