New Partnership Brings Together Top Hockey Tournament Organizer and One of New England’s Premier Youth Hockey Organizations

Woodridge, IL, January 11, 2021 –200×85, the worldwide leader in elite youth hockey tournaments and training experiences, proudly announces its partnership with Blue Chips Selects Hockey. Through this expanded relationship, 200×85 and Blue Chip will stage four high-level tournaments in 2021 and 2022 throughout New England.

“I’ve known for years about 200×85 and their reputation for organizing and hosting events for athletes from all around the Midwest,” said Dan Fawcett, Partner of Blue Chips Select Hockey. “That’s why we’re so excited to work with 200×85 to bring its amazing event series to the East Coast. Their tournaments are way more than hockey tournaments. They’re full-scale events that have long-lasting impacts on its participants.”

The four new tournaments will be the CCM Blue Chip Invite starting on May 21, 2021, the CCM Summer Invite starting on August 6, 2021, the CCM Martin Luther King Jr. Invite starting on January 14, 2022, and the CCM Ocean State Classic starting on February 18, 2022. Each tournament is expected to attract between 90 and 200 teams.

Athletes and their families can expect a weekend unlike any other. From high-energy, high-level competition between some of the best young athletes in the country to accommodations and entertainment, a 200×85 event is an unforgettable experience.

About Blue Chips Selects Hockey

The Blue Chip Selects originated in the summer of 2002 as an elite six team high school league out of Quincy Youth Arena.  As the years have gone by, it has turned into spring/summer skills and camps as well as Tournament teams from Mites to U18 that compete in the most prestigious tournaments in North America.   The Selects have won a number of championships in such tournaments as the Pro Hockey Bauer Shoot-Out,  Blue Chip Invite, Triple Crown Finale, Buffalo NAPS, and Top Tier Toronto to name just a few.  The Select teams have a 90% success rate of playing in the playoffs in every tournament they have participated in.
