CCM 68 Announces Expansion to Include European Players for 2024

CCM 68 Becomes a Global Stage for Youth Hockey Excellence

Last year, CCM 68 doubled in size, bringing in the top 68 Canadian boys and girls from 2009 to join the Americans. As hockey continues to grow as a global sport, 200×85 is thrilled to announce the expansion of its prestigious event to include European players for the upcoming 2024 CCM 68. Building on the success of last year’s addition of Canadian players, this expansion marks a significant step towards creating a truly international platform for elite 14-year-old hockey players.

The 2024 CCM 68 will welcome 34 talented European boys to the event, forming two formidable teams. The inclusion of European players underscores the commitment to offering a global stage for elite hockey players to showcase their skills, compete at the highest level, and gain exposure to North American scouts.

To facilitate the scouting process, an evaluation will be held in Prague, Czech Republic to identify and invite the top 34 players born in 2010. This initiative ensures a fair and comprehensive selection process, aligning with CCM 68’s mission to provide opportunities to the most promising talents worldwide. If you are interested in attending the CCM 68 European Evaluation please contact Adam Jonak for more information.

The 2024 CCM 68 event, scheduled to take place from August 7th to 11th at the Nicholas Sportsplex in Mount Prospect, IL, will exclusively host 2010 birth year players. The event will feature a total of 306 players, with the breakdown as follows:

  • 68 American Boys (4 teams)
  • 68 American Girls (4 teams)
  • 68 Canadian Boys (4 teams)
  • 68 Canadian Girls (4 teams)
  • 34 European Boys (2 teams)

Building on the legacy of the previous years, CCM 68 promises an unparalleled experience for attendees, combining state-of-the-art education, on and off-ice testing, top-notch coaching, and intense game competition.

CCM 68 remains committed to its core principle of inclusivity, ensuring that financial considerations do not hinder opportunities for elite players. The event continues to be 90% subsidized by 200×85 and CCM, emphasizing the focus on talent and skill rather than financial status.
