CCM Shootout Rolls On: Elite Hockey at Notre Dame
With the 2012 Division now in the books, the CCM Shootout continues with four exciting weekends still ahead! The CCM Shootout stands apart from most 200×85 events. What makes this showcase truly unique is its multi-weekend format, featuring one age group per weekend. This approach shines a spotlight on each division while offering players a more personal and immersive experience at the University of Notre Dame’s picturesque campus and the renowned Compton Family Ice Arena.
Recapping A Showcase of Talent
The CCM Shootout takes a different approach, opting for a five-game showcase format instead of a traditional playoff structure. This format allows elite teams to compete in high-level matchups without crowning a single champion.
Only three teams have managed to leave the ice undefeated in regulation so far:
- Huron Perth Lakers (2014 Division)
- Brantford 99ers (2014 Division)
- Wisconsin Jr Guardians (2012 Division)
