In Spring 2024, families of elite young hockey players are invited to immerse themselves in an unparalleled cultural and sporting experience with 200×85’s first trip to the Finland Lion’s Cup. Over 10 days, from March 23 to April 1 for the ‘10s and April 6 to April 15 for the ‘09s and ‘11s, participants will indulge in high-level hockey and cultural exploration in two Nordic gems: Stockholm, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland. Designed for AAA and AA boys in the 2009-2011 age divisions, the tournament will bring together teams from countries like the Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia, and Sweden.

Stockholm Sojourn: A Fusion of Hockey and Swedish Splendor

Commencing in Stockholm, Sweden, players and their families will be captivated by the Swedish way of life, balancing free time with guided activities. Stockholm, the nation’s capital, boasts a rich history and offers architectural marvels, intriguing museums, and delectable local cuisine. As part of the tour package, all travelers will enjoy a sightseeing bus tour of Stockholm and an exploration of the Vasa Warship Museum. For additional adventures, participants can opt for visits to the Stockholm Amusement Park, the Abba Museum, and ICEBAR Stockholm, providing a surreal experience of enjoying drinks in a bar made entirely of ice.

Seafaring to Helsinki: Architectural Wonders and Baltic Beauty

On day 4, the journey continues aboard a Silja Line Cruise bound for Helsinki, Finland’s vibrant capital. In Helsinki, families will have ample time for leisurely explorations, admiring the city’s diverse architectural styles and iconic Helsinki Cathedral. The city, surrounded by over 300 islands in the Baltic Sea, is renowned for its natural beauty and exquisite seafood. An optional trip to Tallinn, Estonia, on day 6 adds an extra layer of exploration. The tour package encompasses a sightseeing bus tour, a visit to Suomenlinna Fortress Island, a trip to Iso Omena Mall, and a relaxing sauna and swimming session at Allas Sea Pool on the final full day.
