Notre Dame Events Wrapped Up

With the conclusion of the 2023 Irish Leprechaun Tournament, 200×85 has closed this season’s series of events at the University of Notre Dame!

The first CCM Shootout of the season kicked off on September 20th of 2022. Five months later and 200×85 concluded their eighth event on the campus of Notre Dame. The 2023 Irish Leprechaun Tournament concluded over the weekend and was the final Notre Dame event of the 2022-2023 season.

The CCM Shootout differs from most 200×85 events. What makes this event special is how it spans multiple weekends, where only one age group competes per weekend. This not only provides a spotlight for each age group but allows them to have a more personal and intimate experience on the University of Notre Dame’s campus and its gorgeous Compton Family Ice Arena.

The CCM Shootout does not include a playoff-style format that produces a champion, instead it is a five-game showcase-style weekend of elite teams. Unlike the CCM Shootout, the 2023 Irish Leprechaun Tournament produced three champions. Below you will find the 2023 Irish Leprechaun Tournament Champions and the CCM Shootout division’s standings.

The Whitby Wildcats (4-1-0) led the weekend in goals and surrendered the least, but were not able to get past the Madison Capitols.
