The CCM Shootout: A Season of Excellence

As the final horn sounded on the 2012 Division, the CCM Shootout concluded a thrilling season of high-level competition. Unlike most 200×85 events, the CCM Shootout stands apart with its unique multi-weekend format, spotlighting one age group at a time. This structure not only highlights each division’s talent but also offers players an immersive experience on the storied grounds of the University of Notre Dame and the renowned Compton Family Ice Arena. With the season now complete, we are excited to announce the dates for the 2025-26 CCM Shootout weekends.

Recapping 2024-25

From the first drop of the puck, it was evident that the CCM Shootout would showcase some of the best young talent in the game. With no playoff bracket or championship trophy, this event wasn’t about a single victor—it was about competition at the highest level.

Over the course of seven weekends, the CCM Shootout hosted a total of 105 teams, competing in 263 games. While many teams fought hard, only seven managed to complete the event without a single regulation loss:

Looking to 2025-26

The CCM Shootout returns to Notre Dame’s Compton Family Ice Arena for another season of elite competition. Mark your calendars for the upcoming weekends:

As the 2024-25 season approaches its conclusion, teams are already looking ahead to next year’s competition. Applications are now open for all 2025 Fall/Winter Tournaments, including the CCM Shootout.
