The Who’s Who of Youth Hockey
Join 200×85 at the CCM World Invite Opening Night Reception
The stage is set for Thursday, November 4th at Seven Bridges Ice Arena as 200×85 looks to kick off the CCM World Invite. We’re rolling out the red carpet for the 500+ teams and 10,500+ players that are headed to Chicago for the biggest tournament in youth hockey. This is going to be the who’s-who of the youth hockey scene and will feature attractions for athletes, families, and coaches alike.
Over 30 different vendors will be in attendance, including a stick demo from our presenting partner, CCM, as well as displays from tournament apparel providers, hockey technology developers, and more. Plus, don’t miss out on the chance to go head to head in some friendly competition in interactive video games like Skee Puck, Perfect Pass, Goalie Challenge, and more.

Did we mention the guest list? The Hanson Brothers, Olly & Jacob from On The Bench, The Blues Brothers, and AJ Galante, Owner & General Manager of the Danbury Trashers (from the Netflix hit ‘Untold: Crimes and Penalties’), will be in attendance. Speaking of celebrities, we can’t forget the stars of the shows. The kick off celebration will feature 5 marquee games of the evening, where top teams are taking over the main stage to display their skills for the masses in never-before-seen matchups.
Aside from all of the entertainment, this event is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grab a drink and swap stories with coaches from opposite ends of the globe. (Oh and by the way, managers and coaches will get exclusive access to the 200×85 Gala which will feature an open bar.
“I have been coming to the CCM World Invite since its inception,” said Don Moorhouse, STL Knights 12U coach.“The thing that makes it special for me is the opportunity to revisit the many friends I have made all these years from all over the hockey world, including the USA, Canada, and Europe. The ability to exchange new ideas and trends as the game and the players have escalated over the years.”
“The Hockey Hall of Fame has been part of the Opening Night Reception for about 15 years now,” says Philip Pritchard, Vice President of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Members from the Hockey Hall of Fame will be in attendance at the Opening Night Reception to show off the Stanley Cup and Olympic hockey memorabilia. “I believe it’s important to share hockey history with every level of hockey to inspire the kids playing in this tournament to go on to become professionals – whether as professional hockey players, become lawyers, doctors, and business owners, and so on. If we can assist in setting one’s goals, that would be amazing.”
The biggest tournament in youth hockey deserves the biggest celebration in youth hockey. This year’s opening reception is going to be one for the record books, don’t miss out on this red carpet caliber event!
