Hockey Heats Up in South Florida
Recapping the 2025 CCM Florida Winter Cup
The sun was shining and the competition was fierce as the CCM Florida Winter Cup returned for another unforgettable weekend of hockey in South Florida. With 79 teams competing across 10 divisions, the event delivered non-stop action and showcased the depth of talent traveling to escape the winter chill and compete on the ice.
Over the course of the weekend, teams battled through 180 total games, combining for an impressive 1,151 goals. From high-tempo round-robin play to intense playoff matchups, every shift mattered as players rose to the moment in front of packed rinks filled with families, teammates, and fans.
The tournament culminated in championship games across all divisions, highlighting resilience, teamwork, and competitive edge. Three teams completed the weekend undefeated, an impressive achievement that underscored their consistency and execution from start to finish.
From highlight-reel goals to clutch saves and overtime drama, the CCM Florida Winter Cup once again delivered the energy and excitement that has made it a winter staple on the 200×85 calendar. Thank you to all the players, coaches, officials, and families who helped make the event such a success.
