Howies Hometown Cup Returns
The iconic CCM Michigan Classic, a hallmark event in the hockey calendar, is getting a fresh look in 2025. Now renamed the Howies Hometown Cup, this premier tournament will continue its legacy of excellence while embracing its new title sponsor, Howies Hockey. The first-ever Howies Hometown Cup made its debut in spring 2024 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and its success paved the way for this exciting transition. The event will return to Grand Rapids on September 5-7, 2025, kicking off the fall hockey season in style.
With more than 140 teams, ranging from 2015s to 2006s, competing across Michigan, the Howies Hometown Cup is set to attract elite talent from across North America and beyond. Players will battle for the coveted Howies Hometown Cup, solidifying this tournament as one of the premier youth hockey events in the world.
