CCM 68 Futures Hit the Ice In Tempe
Results from the first of five CCM Future ID CampsÂ
In the new home of the Arizona State Sun Devils NCAA Division I Hockey team, 200×85 kicked off the first CCM 68 Futures combine at Mullet Arena. Sixty-eight (36 forwards, 24 defensemen, and 8 goalies) 2010 birth years from across the country came to Tempe, Arizona to participate in the 2023 CCM 68 Future ID Camp. Split into four teams, the athletes took part in on-ice training, off-ice training, educational seminars, and on-ice games, of course.Â

The players were led during the on-ice training sessions by the assistant coaches from the Arizona State University Sun Devils- Mike Field and Alex Hicks! Liane Blyn, Director of Sports Performance-Olympic Sports for Arizona State University, led the players through a seminar on Nutrition and Performance. Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) hosted a College Hockey Recruiting webinar during the weekend to inform the players on the process, rules, and guidelines of playing collegiate hockey as well.Â
